Australian car buyers have until 31 October 2026 to lock in some of the strongest new car deals of the year, and as of 12 October 2026 that leaves less than three weeks. Drive away prices start at $19,990 for the BYD Atto 1 and MG3, sit at $23,990 for the Haval Jolion and Chery Tiggo 4, and stretch to cashback, fuel card, free servicing and low rate finance offers across the rest of the market.
This guide covers 12 standout offers in detail, then lists more deals worth a look. Every price, end date and condition comes from the manufacturer's own Australian offers pages, checked on 12 October 2026. Where an offer ends later than 31 October, we say so. If you want to browse stock while you read, start with our new cars directory.

How we picked these deals and how to read them
We started with the offers that are live today on each brand's Australian website, then kept the ones that give a buyer a clear, checkable saving: a low drive away price, cashback, a fuel card, free servicing or cheap finance. Anything we could not confirm on a manufacturer page was dropped.
A few rules of thumb apply to almost every deal below:
Drive away means on road costs are in. The price covers registration, compulsory third party insurance, stamp duty and dealer delivery, but it varies by state. Several brands base their headline on a specific state, so read our guide to on road costs and drive away versus list price before comparing.
Delivery usually has to happen by the end date. Many offers need the car purchased and delivered by 31 October, not just ordered. Ask the dealer for a confirmed delivery date in writing.
Stock is limited. Almost every offer says "while stocks last", and some apply only to particular variants, model years or build dates.
Fleet, government and rental buyers are usually excluded. ABN holders and private buyers often see different prices, so check which one you are quoted.
Offers rarely stack. Cashback, finance and fuel card deals are usually either/or, and premium paint costs extra.
Haval Jolion: from $23,990 drive away
The Haval Jolion Premium is one of the cheapest new SUVs in Australia this month. GWM lists the 1.5 litre turbo petrol Premium at $23,990 drive away, and the Lux at $26,990, with the $3,000 saving already included in both prices. The offer ends on 31 October 2026 and applies while stocks last.
1 / 10
The Premium comes with 17 inch alloy wheels, cloth seats and a 10.25 inch infotainment screen. If you want a hybrid, the Jolion Premium HEV starts at $32,990 drive away with a choice of two deals: an extra $3,000 off the drive away price, or 0.88% p.a. finance (2.71% comparison rate) with no deposit, no balloon and a three year term. GWM's finance applications must be received by 31 October and the car delivered by 15 November, and finance is not available to government, fleet or rental buyers. Prices are based on private buyers in Victoria.
The wider range has similar choices. The Haval H6 Lux starts at $35,990 drive away, the Lux HEV at $40,990 and the Lux PHEV at $44,990, each with an extra $2,000 to $4,000 off or the same 0.88% finance offer.
Buyers should remember that the extra cashback and the finance rate are alternatives, and the Jolion Premium and Lux petrol models carry no separate finance deal.
Chery Tiggo 4: from $23,990 drive away plus a $1,500 fuel card
The Chery Tiggo 4 Urban is advertised at $23,990 drive away for MY26 models with no optional extras, and the Ultimate at $26,990. Chery's offers page lists these as October offers ending 31 October 2026, although the small print on the prices refers to orders placed between 1 October and 31 December 2026, so ask your dealer how long the price holds. On top of that, Chery adds a $1,500 fuel card on new and eligible demonstrator petrol Urban and Ultimate models purchased and delivered between 1 and 31 October 2026.
1 / 10
The fuel card must be redeemed at the point of sale, and it can be swapped for an equivalent deduction from the drive away price if you prefer. It excludes fleet, national fleet, government, rental, business and not for profit purchases. The Urban brings 17 inch alloys, seven airbags, dual 10.25 inch screens and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The Ultimate adds 18 inch wheels, a 360 degree camera, heated front seats and a power sunroof.
Chery has similar October offers further up the range. The Chery C5 Urban starts at $28,990 drive away with a $2,000 fuel card, the Chery Tiggo 7 Urban at $29,990 with a $2,000 fuel card, and the seven seat Chery Tiggo 8 Urban at $38,990 with a $2,000 fuel card. The hybrid models, including the Chery Tiggo 4 Hybrid, carry a choice of $2,000 or $3,000 cashback or 0.70% comparison rate finance with a 10% deposit over 36 months, with finance approved and settled by 31 October.
Geely EX2, EX5 and Starray EM-i: 6% off on a novated lease and 0.09% finance
Geely is running two offers on its three Australian models. Customers who buy through an approved novated lease get 6% off the vehicle price on the Geely EX2, Geely EX5 and Geely Starray EM-i, provided the car is delivered between 1 and 31 October 2026 and the lease is arranged through a Fleet Management Organisation approved by Geely.

Geely also offers a 0.09% p.a. comparison rate on all three models with no deposit over a 36 month term, ending 31 October 2026. The comparison rate is based on a $30,000 loan over five years, and it excludes government charges and a dealer origination fee that can be up to $1,495. Geely says the novated lease discount cannot be combined with other offers unless it approves it.
List prices before on road costs help you size up the saving. The EX2 starts at $26,490 for the Complete and $30,990 for the Inspire. The EX5 starts at $41,990 and $45,990. The Starray EM-i electric hybrid is $37,490 for the Complete, $41,490 for the Inspire Extended Range and $44,990 for the Inspire AWD. On those figures, 6% is worth roughly $1,590 on an EX2 Complete, $2,520 on an EX5 Complete and $2,250 on a Starray Complete. Geely lists a seven year unlimited kilometre vehicle warranty and an eight year battery warranty for private owners.
LDV D90: from $36,990 drive away for ABN holders
The LDV D90 is a large seven seat SUV, and LDV has sharp drive away prices on it this month. The 2WD Mode petrol is $36,990 drive away for ABN holders or $39,174 for private buyers. The offer applies to new stock vehicles with no options added that are purchased and delivered between 1 and 31 October 2026, while stock lasts.
1 / 10
The Mode has a 2.0 litre turbo petrol engine with 184 kW and 410 Nm, an eight speed automatic, 12.3 inch displays with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a seven year, 200,000 km warranty. Higher grades cost more:
D90 2WD Executive: $40,990 for ABN holders, $43,384 for private buyers.
D90 4WD Executive: $44,490 for ABN holders, $47,068 for private buyers.
Diesel D90 4WD Executive: $46,990 for ABN holders, $49,700 for private buyers.
Diesel D90 4WD Luxe: $51,490 for ABN holders, $54,437 for private buyers.
The offer is not available to fleet, government or rental buyers. We have used LDV's published drive away prices rather than a discount figure, because those are the numbers on the manufacturer's offers page.
MG3, MG HS and more: cashback and drive away prices to 31 October
MG has the widest October offer list of any brand, with cashback or drive away deals on almost every model. Offers apply to vehicles sold and delivered from participating dealers between 1 and 31 October 2026, and MG shows prices by state, so confirm the figure for where you live.
The MG3 is the headline. The Vibe costs $19,990 drive away after a $1,000 cashback (from $20,990), the Excite is $23,990 and the Essence is $25,990. The MG ZS Vibe is $22,990 drive away, and the ZS Excite Turbo is $25,990 after a $1,000 cashback.
1 / 10
The biggest saving is on the MG HS. The HS Excite Super Hybrid has a $6,000 cashback that takes the price from $48,990 to $42,990 drive away, and the Essence Super Hybrid drops from $52,990 to $46,990. The HS Excite HYBRID+ gets $3,000 off to $36,990, and the petrol HS Vibe is $32,990 after $2,000 off.
1 / 10
Electric buyers get deals too. The MG4 Urban Essence 43 is $29,990 drive away after $2,000 cashback, and the MGS5 EV Essence 49kWh is $39,990 after $2,000. Cashback comes off the purchase price at the point of sale. It is not available to fleet, government or rental buyers and generally cannot be combined with other offers.

The cashback covers the BYD Seal 6, BYD Sealion 5, BYD Sealion 6, BYD Sealion 7, BYD Sealion 8 and BYD Shark 6. BYD also offers 6% off on novated leases across most of its range. The earlier Sealion 7 drive away deal closed to new orders on 30 September. For the detail, see our BYD $4,000 cashback guide.
Jaecoo J5 and J7: drive away prices for October orders
Jaecoo has drive away prices on new stock ordered from participating dealers between 1 and 31 October 2026, with no metallic paint or options, while stocks last. The Jaecoo J5 Track is $25,990 and the Summit is $29,990.

The medium Jaecoo J7 Ridge AWD is $39,990 drive away including a $3,000 factory bonus, ending 31 October. Jaecoo's page describes the bonus differently in two places (a MY27 Ridge in one note and a MY25 Ridge in another), so confirm the exact model year with your dealer before you sign.

Fine print that decides whether you get the deal
The headline price is only half the story. Before you visit a dealer, check these points for the brand you are considering.
ABN buyers: LDV and Mitsubishi publish separate ABN and private prices, and the Kia Tasman cab chassis price is for ABN holders only. Nissan quotes one maximum drive away price for private and ABN buyers.
Finance offers: GWM, Chery, Geely, Kia and BYD require approved finance and have application or settlement deadlines. Comparison rates are based on a $30,000 loan over five years, and some exclude a dealer origination fee of up to $1,495.
Fleet, government and rental buyers: almost every brand excludes them.
Stock limited: every offer is while stocks last, and some cover only specific build years, so ask which cars qualify.
Delivery deadlines: Suzuki, MG, LDV, Kia and Chery's fuel card need delivery by 31 October. Nissan allows delivery by 30 November, and GWM finance allows delivery by 15 November.
State pricing: GWM quotes Victoria and Mitsubishi quotes New South Wales, so expect different figures in other states.

Best for novated leases: the Jaecoo J5 EV with 10% off, then the Geely EX5 and BYD Atto 1 with 6% off.
Best seven seater value: the LDV D90 from $36,990 for ABN holders, or the Mitsubishi Outlander ES from $40,990.
Most time to decide: BYD, Hyundai and Toyota, whose offers run into December.
Offers can change, sell out or be withdrawn without notice. Take the written quote to the dealer, ask for the delivery date, and confirm the drive away price for your state before you commit.
