The Geely EX5 is a fully electric medium SUV and the model that established Geely Auto's current Australian presence. Designed around the GEA new-energy architecture, it combines a familiar five-seat SUV shape with a dedicated electric drivetrain, a spacious cabin and a technology-heavy interior. The Inspire builds on this with 19-inch wheels, a panoramic sunroof, a head-up display, ventilated and massaging front seats, a passenger leg rest, ambient lighting and a 16-speaker audio system. That gives buyers a clear choice between the value-oriented Complete and the more luxurious Inspire without changing the core drivetrain.

Practicality is another important part of the EX5's appeal. The flat-folding and reclining rear seats help the cabin adapt to passengers or bulky cargo, and the second row includes useful storage solutions. The 2026 update also adds a cargo blind as standard. Seven airbags and a broad driver-assistance package support family use, and the EX5 carries a five-star ANCAP safety rating. Geely backs the vehicle with a seven-year unlimited-kilometre vehicle warranty and an eight-year unlimited-kilometre high-voltage battery warranty under its Australian program, subject to the manufacturer's terms.

For Australian buyers, the EX5 is strongest as a well-equipped family EV that prioritises range, cabin features and value rather than outright performance.
