November has brought one of the most mixed months for new car prices in Australia this year. Tesla has cut the Model Y Performance by $4,500, LDV has slashed drive-away pricing on its new T60 MAX ute by more than $5,000, and the Chevrolet Corvette Z06 is $36,010 cheaper. At the same time, Toyota, Hyundai and Kia have nudged prices up across parts of their ranges.
Most changes took effect on 1 November 2026 and are based on manufacturer list prices before on-road costs, unless a drive-away price is stated.
The biggest November price cuts
| Model | Previous price | New price | Change |
|---|---|---|---|
| Chevrolet Corvette Z06 3LZ | $336,000 +ORC | $299,990 +ORC | −$36,010 |
| LDV T60 MAX Luxe Auto MY27 | $52,095 drive-away | $45,253 drive-away | −$6,842 |
| LDV T60 MAX Pro Auto MY27 | $45,253 drive-away | $39,989 drive-away | −$5,264 |
| Tesla Model Y Performance | $89,400 +ORC | $84,900 +ORC | −$4,500 |
The Tesla Model Y Performance is now listed at $84,900 before on-road costs. Supply for the variant is reported to have moved to Tesla's Shanghai factory, and paint colours other than the standard finish are reported to now cost extra, so check the final build price before ordering. Our earlier look at the Model Y Performance price in Australia covers its specification and rivals.
LDV's MY27 LDV T60 MAX now starts at $39,989 drive-away for the Pro and $45,253 drive-away for the Luxe, according to LDV's official price guide. Eligible ABN holders pay $37,990 and $42,990 drive-away respectively. Both use LDV's 163kW 2.5-litre turbo-diesel engine. Runout MY25 T60 MAX stock is also discounted until 30 November or while stock lasts.
The Corvette Z06 3LZ drops from $336,000 to $299,990 before on-road costs. It is reported to be build-to-order, with production expected from January and first Australian deliveries expected in the first quarter of next year.
Hyundai and Kia lift prices by a few hundred dollars
Hyundai has added $250 to most of its range, with a $500 rise on some performance models. Selected hybrid variants are unchanged.
| Model | New price (+ORC) | Change |
|---|---|---|
| Hyundai Venue | $24,000 | +$250 |
| Hyundai i30 Sedan | $30,250 | +$250 |
| Hyundai Kona 2.0 FWD | $33,950 | +$250 |
| Hyundai Tucson 2.0 FWD | $39,350 | +$250 |
| Hyundai Santa Fe 2.5 FWD | $54,650 | +$250 |
| Hyundai i30 Sedan N Premium | $53,500 | +$500 |
| Hyundai Sonata N Line | $57,000 | +$500 |
| Kia Stonic S MY27 | $28,480 | +$300 |
| Kia Stonic Sport MY27 | $32,590 | +$300 |
| Kia Stonic GT-Line MY27 | $36,040 | +$300 |
The Tucson rise is offset for runout buyers. Hyundai is offering a $1,500 bonus on new and demonstrator Tucson stock purchased and delivered between 23 October and 31 December 2026, which more than covers the $250 increase on remaining stock.
The MY27 Kia Stonic is $300 dearer across all three grades. The new-generation Kia Seltos also arrives at a higher starting price of $37,990 for the S, but that reflects a new model rather than a straight price rise.
Toyota leads the other increases
Toyota has lifted every LandCruiser 70 Series variant by $1,300. We have covered the Toyota 70 Series cost increase in full, including all 14 new prices. The Corolla Ascent Sport Hybrid also rises $350 to $32,935.
Other notable rises this month include the BMW iX3 50 M Sport, up $2,600 to $112,500, the Suzuki Jimny Heritage automatic, up $1,500 to $42,490 drive-away, and the Volkswagen Crafter van range, up $750.
Temporary deals are not the same as price cuts
Some brands are using bonuses rather than list price cuts. Alfa Romeo, for example, is offering bonuses of $7,500 or $15,000 on the Giulia Quadrifoglio until 31 December. These offers can end or change at short notice, while list price changes such as Tesla's and Chevrolet's stay until the brand moves them again.
- Compare like with like. LDV quotes drive-away prices, while most other brands in this list quote prices before on-road costs.
- Check build dates. Price changes apply to orders from the effective date, so ask whether your contract locks in the old price.
- Use runout bonuses. End-of-year bonuses, like Hyundai's Tucson offer, can be worth more than a small list price rise.
