Skoda Range in Australia 2026: Fabia, Kamiq, Karoq, Kodiaq and Octavia Prices and Which One to Buy

· 0 Views · 11 min read

Skoda range prices in Australia 2026

Skoda's Australian line-up runs from the Fabia light hatch at $29,990 drive away to the seven-seat Kodiaq RS at $76,990, with the Octavia, Superb and the electric Elroq and Enyaq alongside. Every Skoda is known for one thing in particular: more boot space than you expect for the size of the car.

This guide puts every current Skoda sold in Australia side by side, with drive away prices for every grade, boot space and the best pick for each budget. We also explain where the Scala hatch fits now. It is a buying guide and comparison, not a scored ranking.

Pricing basis: Skoda Australia publishes a manufacturer's recommended drive away price for every grade. It is a national estimate that includes 12 months registration and CTP, dealer delivery and stamp duty, and applies to new vehicles sold and delivered by 31 December 2026. Your final price may vary by state and dealer, so confirm it before you sign.

How we chose

As at: Thursday 22 October 2026 (Australia/Hobart).

In scope: every model and grade on Skoda Australia's current model range: Fabia, Kamiq, Karoq, Kodiaq, Octavia (sedan and wagon), Superb (sedan and wagon), Elroq and Enyaq (SUV and Coupe). We also cover the Scala, which buyers still search for.

Research path: a grade by grade check of Skoda Australia's model pages and current offers, with boot space taken from Skoda's model pages and Skoda's official technical data.

Editorial approach: one side by side comparison table, a boot space table, a section for each model with grade prices, Suits and Watch for, and a best pick for each budget. No numeric ranking.

Figures from Skoda Australia model pages, with the Scala figure from Skoda's official technical data. Skoda's Kodiaq Select page also quotes 794 litres, so check the exact figure for your grade and seat layout with your dealer.

The Skoda Scala boot space is the stand out for its size: at 467 litres it beats the Kamiq SUV and nearly matches the Elroq. The Octavia wagon swallows more than the Karoq and Enyaq SUVs, which is why it remains the practical pick for buyers who do not need an SUV's height.

Skoda Fabia: the light hatch

The Skoda Fabia is the cheapest Skoda in Australia, with the Fabia Select at $29,990 drive away and the sportier Monte Carlo at $39,990. Both use a turbo petrol engine with a 7 speed DSG automatic.

Monte Carlo

$39,990

The Fabia price buys a 380 litre boot that Skoda says is the largest in its class, growing to 1,190 litres with the rear seats folded. Skoda also quotes a drag coefficient from 0.28.

Suits: city buyers and first car owners who want European quality and a big boot in a small footprint.

Watch for: the Monte Carlo costs $10,000 more than the Select, which puts it in Kamiq territory.

Skoda Scala: where it fits now

The Skoda Scala is a small hatch with a 467 litre boot, which Skoda says is the largest in its segment, growing to 1,410 litres with the rear seats folded. However, the Scala is not currently listed in Skoda Australia's model range.

Skoda Scala • Gallery

1 / 10

That means a new Scala is likely to be limited to any remaining dealer or demonstrator stock, and there is no current Skoda recommended drive away price to quote. If you want the Scala's mix of hatchback size and big boot, ask your dealer whether any new stock is left, or look at the Kamiq (400 litres) or the Octavia (600 litres) as current alternatives. See our Scala model page for specifications.

Suits: buyers who want a hatch with near SUV boot space, if stock can be found.

Watch for: confirm availability, build date and warranty start date with your dealer before you buy.

Skoda Kamiq: the small SUV

The Skoda Kamiq is the brand's small SUV, priced at $33,990 drive away for the Select and $44,990 for the Monte Carlo. It offers a 400 litre boot that grows to 1,395 litres.

Skoda's Kamiq finance offer runs across the MY25 and MY26 range until 31 October 2026, with a 3 year Care Plan valued at $1,390 covering the first three scheduled services.

Suits: buyers who want a raised driving position and easy parking without paying medium SUV prices.

Watch for: the Monte Carlo is $11,000 more than the Select, and the Karoq Select costs only $7,000 more than the Kamiq Select with a much bigger boot.

Skoda Karoq: the sweet spot

The Skoda Karoq sits between the Kamiq and Kodiaq, priced at $40,990 drive away for the Select, $46,990 for the Sportline 110TSI and $54,990 for the Sportline 4x4 140TSI. Its 521 litre boot expands to 1,630 litres.

Suits: small families who want medium SUV space in a compact footprint.

Watch for: the 4x4 adds $8,000 over the front-drive Sportline, so only pay for it if you need all-wheel drive.

Skoda Kodiaq: the seven-seat family SUV

The Skoda Kodiaq is the brand's largest SUV, available with five or seven seats and petrol, mild hybrid and plug-in hybrid power. Prices start at $49,990 drive away for the Kodiaq Select and Kodiaq Hybrid, and run to $76,990 for the Kodiaq RS.

Skoda quotes up to 910 litres of boot space in five-seat form and 340 litres with the optional third row in use. The plug-in hybrid uses a 25.7kWh battery and Skoda quotes more than 100km of electric-only range. For more seven-seat options, see our best 7 seat family SUVs guide.

Suits: families who want one of the biggest boots in the class and the option of a third row.

Watch for: seven seats are optional on some grades, so confirm the seating layout on the exact car you are buying.

Skoda Octavia: the practical alternative to an SUV

The Skoda Octavia comes as a liftback sedan or wagon, both with huge boots for their size. The sedan starts at $41,990 drive away and the wagon at $43,990.

Suits: buyers who want SUV-beating boot space with car-like handling and efficiency.

Watch for: the RS costs $16,000 to $17,000 more than the Sportline, so test drive both.

Skoda Superb: the large flagship

The Skoda Superb is the brand's large sedan and wagon, priced from $66,990 drive away for the Superb Wagon PHEV to $74,990 for the Superb Sportline Wagon.

Skoda Elroq: the smaller electric SUV

The Skoda Elroq is the brand's smaller electric SUV, priced at $49,990 drive away for the Elroq 60 Select and $59,990 for the Elroq 85 Select. It offers a 470 litre boot that grows to 1,580 litres.

Skoda says an Elroq Sportline is arriving soon, with orders opening in early 2027 and final specifications still to be confirmed. Compare the Elroq with other affordable electric cars in our cheapest electric cars guide.

Suits: buyers who can charge at home and want a compact electric SUV with a 7 year warranty.

Watch for: the Elroq 85 Select costs about the same as the bigger Enyaq Select 60, so compare range, boot and equipment side by side.

Skoda Enyaq: the larger electric SUV and Coupe

The Skoda Enyaq is the brand's larger electric SUV, also offered as a sleeker Enyaq Coupe. Prices start at $55,990 drive away for the Enyaq Select 60 and run to $80,990 for the Enyaq Coupe RS.

The Enyaq SUV has a 585 litre boot that grows to 1,710 litres, and the RS models use two electric motors with a combined 250kW and all-wheel drive. Skoda's current Enyaq finance offer is based on a stock drive away price of $54,990 for the Select 60, so ask your dealer which price applies to the car you are buying.

Suits: families who want a roomy electric SUV with a bigger boot than the Elroq.

Watch for: the Coupe costs $6,000 more than the equivalent Enyaq SUV Sportline 85, so decide whether the sloping roof is worth it.

Which Skoda should you buy?

Best under $30,000: Fabia Select at $29,990 for a big boot in a small hatch.

Best under $40,000: Kamiq Select at $33,990 if you want an SUV, or stretch to the Karoq Select at $40,990 for 521 litres of boot space.

Best family all-rounder: Karoq Sportline at $46,990 or Octavia Select Wagon at $43,990.

Best for big families: Kodiaq Select or Kodiaq Hybrid at $49,990, with optional seven seats.

Best electric: Elroq 60 Select at $49,990.

Warranty and servicing

Skoda offers a 7 year unlimited kilometre warranty across its entire Australian range, with pre-paid service packs available on all models. Skoda's drive away prices already include on-road costs.
