Honda adds AmpolCash fuel cards worth up to $3,000 on CR-V and ZR-V hybrids

Honda Australia has added AmpolCash fuel cards worth up to $3,000 across much of its range, with the biggest card reserved for the entry-level hybrid versions of the Honda CR-V and Honda ZR-V. The offer applies to contracts signed between 1 and 31 October 2026.

Buyers of the new CR-V e-HEV X or the MY26 ZR-V e-HEV X receive a $3,000 card, while other hybrid grades get $1,500 and most of the remaining range gets $1,000.

Honda sells its cars at fixed national drive-away prices. The CR-V e-HEV X is listed from about $49,900 drive-away and the ZR-V e-HEV X from about $43,400 drive-away, but confirm the exact price for your grade and colour on Honda’s site before you sign.

How far will $3,000 go

At $2.00 a litre, $3,000 buys about 1,500 litres of petrol. With the ZR-V hybrid rated at 5.0L/100km, that would cover roughly 30,000km of driving on the official figure, although real-world use will vary with how and where you drive.

The fine print

The AmpolCash card is prepaid and is sent once the car is delivered. It cannot be swapped for cash or any other compensation and is subject to the card supplier’s own terms. The digital card works at participating Ampol sites but not at outdoor payment terminals. Honda says it can withdraw, extend or change the offer without notice, and stock is limited.

Is it worth it

A fuel card is not the same as a price cut, but for buyers already set on a Honda hybrid it is a useful extra.
