Zeekr has opened orders for the updated MY27 Zeekr 7X in Australia, and the headline is simple. Every version gets quicker and travels slightly further on a charge, yet prices stay where they were, from $57,900 before on-road costs. Zeekr is also running a launch offer on the new model from 1 November to 31 December 2026, with free premium paint, two free scheduled services and a home wall charger thrown in.

First deliveries of the updated SUV are expected in December. If you are still deciding between the three versions, our Zeekr 7X RWD vs Long Range vs Performance comparison covers equipment and value in detail, so this story sticks to what has changed and what the offer is worth to you.

What the MY27 update changes

Zeekr Australia's own 7X page now lists the MY27 figures alongside the outgoing ones. The gains are modest on paper, but they arrive at no extra cost.

VersionPrice before on-road costsWLTP range, old to new0 to 100km/h, old to new
RWD$57,900480km to 482km6.0 to 5.6 seconds
Long Range RWD$63,900615km to 627km6.0 to 5.5 seconds
Performance AWD$72,900543km to 544km3.8 to 3.7 seconds

Launch details shared for the update put the extra performance down to 25kW more power across the range. The rear-drive versions are quoted at 335kW and 520Nm, up from 310kW and 440Nm, while the Performance AWD is quoted at 500kW and 790Nm, up from 475kW and 710Nm. Zeekr's local website did not yet list the new outputs when this story was written, so treat them as launch figures until the official specification sheet is updated.

Charging is still a strong point. Zeekr lists up to 450kW DC fast charging for the RWD and up to 420kW for the bigger-battery versions, with 22kW AC charging on all models. It quotes a 10 to 80 per cent DC charge in about 11 minutes for the RWD and about 15 minutes for the Performance, on a charger that can deliver that much power. Most public chargers in Australia are well below 450kW, so real-world times will usually be longer.

Warranty cover is unchanged at five years with unlimited kilometres for the vehicle and eight years or 160,000km for the battery.

Which version gains the most

The entry RWD gets the biggest relative lift. Its quoted torque rises by 80Nm and its 0 to 100km/h time drops by four tenths, which narrows the gap to the Long Range. The Long Range RWD gains the most range, 12km more on the WLTP cycle, which strengthens its case as the touring pick. The Performance AWD was already very quick, so its update is more about keeping pace than changing its character.

None of these changes should flip a sensible buying decision on its own. A buyer who needed the Long Range for country driving still needs it, and a city buyer who was happy with the RWD now simply gets a slightly quicker car for the same money.

The MY27 launch offer in plain terms

Zeekr's offer applies to new MY27 7X orders placed with a deposit through an authorised Zeekr dealer between 1 November and 31 December 2026.

What you getThe detail that matters
Free premium paintTech Grey, Crystal White, Forest Green or Tech Grey with a black roof. Onyx Black is the standard colour.
Free interior choiceCharcoal Black with Stone Grey, or Ivory with Polar White.
Two free scheduled servicesThe 12 month or 20,000km service and the 24 month or 40,000km service.
7kW home wall chargerThe charger is supplied, but installation is at your cost. South Australian buyers should read the separate installation conditions.
5000 Z-Points and a gift packageLoyalty points and merchandise, not a cash saving.

The offer is for retail buyers, including those buying through an ABN. Fleet, government, rental and demonstrator vehicles are excluded, and it cannot be combined with other Zeekr offers. Some reports have described the offer as limited to the first 2000 orders, but Zeekr's published terms do not mention that cap, so check with your dealer before relying on either reading.

What to do if you are buying now

  • Budget for charger installation. A free wall charger is useful, but the electrician's bill is yours, and older switchboards can push that cost up. Get a quote before you count the charger as a full saving.
  • Compare against any remaining older stock. If a dealer still has an earlier 7X, the update gives you a reason to ask for a sharper deal, because the newer car costs the same.
  • Look at the drive-away figure. The prices above exclude on-road costs, which vary by state. Ask for a written drive-away quote that lists the free paint and services.
  • Consider the 7GT if you want a wagon. Zeekr has confirmed the 7GT shooting brake for Australia and has indicated it will sit below the 7X on price. Our story on the Zeekr 7GT pricing outlook explains what is known so far.
