Leapmotor B03X priced from $29,990 drive-away in Australia with up to 382 km range

Leapmotor Australia has published local pricing for the new Leapmotor B03X electric SUV, with dealership arrivals due in November 2026. Under a time-limited Acorn Brown promotion, the Style grade is advertised from $29,990 drive-away and the Design LR from $33,990 drive-away.

The figures come from Leapmotor’s official Stellantis Media release dated 6 October 2026. Manufacturer’s suggested retail prices before on-road costs are listed at $26,990 for Style and $30,990 for Design LR. Optional premium paint is listed at $990.

What the drive-away offer covers

The advertised drive-away prices apply to new B03X models in Acorn Brown purchased and delivered between 1 October and 31 December 2026, or while stocks last. Leapmotor says the drive-away price includes 12 months’ registration, CTP, stamp duty and dealer delivery. Government, fleet and rental buyers are excluded. Other colours and options cost more, and Leapmotor Australia says it can change, withdraw or extend the offer.

That means shoppers comparing against list-price rivals need to keep the price basis clear. A drive-away campaign figure is not the same as a before on-road list price. For how those costs usually stack up, see our guide to on-road costs versus list price.

B03X Style

39.8 kWh LFP, up to 292 km WLTP, 130 kW

B03X Design LR

53 kWh LFP, up to 382 km WLTP, 145 kW

$30,990 before on-road costs / $33,990 drive-away under Acorn Brown offer

Leapmotor quotes 0 to 100 km/h in 8.6 seconds and a top speed of 160 km/h for both grades. Style lists DC charging up to 100 kW, while Design LR lists up to 133 kW. Both include an 11 kW onboard AC charger. Leapmotor also lists Vehicle-to-Load capability up to 3.3 kW.

WLTP range is a laboratory combined figure. Real-world distance varies with speed, weather, load, driving style and climate control use.

Size, seats and cargo

Official dimensions put the B03X at 4,270 mm long and 1,810 mm wide on a 2,605 mm wheelbase. Leapmotor highlights Leap Flex rear seats, a Leap Box rear storage compartment, roof rails and up to 1,315 litres of cargo capacity with the rear seats folded. The brand also points to 33 storage spaces around the cabin.

Equipment and safety kit

Across the range, Leapmotor lists a 14.6-inch central touchscreen, an 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, LEAP Pilot Level 2 driver assistance, seven airbags and Leapmotor Connected Services. Design LR adds items such as 18-inch alloys, OEKO-TEX certified TechnoLeather seats, heated front seats and steering wheel, a 12-speaker audio system, front parking sensors and a 360-degree camera with integrated dashcam.

Warranty and servicing

Leapmotor Care on the release includes an 8-year / 160,000 km high-voltage battery warranty, a 6-year / 150,000 km vehicle warranty, eight years’ roadside assistance and eight years’ capped-price servicing, with service intervals listed at 12 months or 20,000 km, whichever comes first. Terms and conditions apply.

Where it sits in the affordable EV market

Leapmotor’s media release describes the B03X as Australia’s most affordable all-electric SUV under the stated drive-away offer. Buyers should still compare like-for-like pricing against other small electric SUVs and hatches, including models covered in our round-ups of cheapest electric cars in Australia and best electric SUVs under $60,000. Competitors such as the BYD Atto 2 and Leapmotor’s own B10 range sit in related price bands depending on grade and price basis.

Home charging costs and public charging rates also shape ownership maths. See our guides to EV home charging and public EV charging costs.

Bottom line

The B03X arrives in November with a clear two-grade ladder and a short Acorn Brown drive-away promotion that puts Style at $29,990 drive-away and Design LR at $33,990 drive-away. Confirm colour eligibility, delivery timing and the current offer status with Leapmotor before treating those headlines as an open-ended street price.
