2026 Maserati MCPURA Price in Australia

The Maserati MCPURA is the core coupe in the Trident's current Australian super sports line-up. It evolves the mid-engined formula into a model centred on lightness, aerodynamic efficiency and a direct connection between driver and machine. A carbon-fibre monocoque developed with specialist expertise provides the structural foundation, while the low nose, sculpted flanks and butterfly doors give the MCPURA a recognisable supercar silhouette without abandoning Maserati's emphasis on Italian design.

Its mechanical centrepiece is the 3.0-litre twin-turbo Nettuno V6 built in Modena. Official Maserati Australia specifications list 630 HP, 720 Nm, rear-wheel drive and 0–100 km/h in 2.9 seconds, with a maximum speed above 325 km/h for the current coupe presentation. The engine's pre-chamber combustion technology is a key part of the Nettuno identity and helps distinguish the MCPURA from rivals that rely on larger engines, hybrid assistance or full electrification.

The carbon-fibre structure is important because the MCPURA is intended to feel agile rather than merely powerful. Maserati lists a 2,700 mm wheelbase and a body less than 4.7 metres long, giving it compact proportions for a modern supercar. Wide tyres, a low centre of gravity and rear-wheel drive support its dynamic focus, while aerodynamic surfaces manage airflow without turning the standard coupe into the overtly winged machine represented by GT2 Stradale.

Inside, the MCPURA keeps the two-seat layout and places controls around the driver. Alcantara and carbon-fibre elements reinforce the performance character, but Maserati also includes digital interfaces and driver-assistance systems aimed at making the car usable on the road. The Australian ownership proposition is further supported by authorised Maserati dealers and the brand's service programmes, while Fuoriserie offers substantial scope for personalising exterior paint, interior materials and details.

Practicality remains secondary. The MCPURA has no rear seats, limited storage compared with a grand tourer and the visibility and clearance considerations associated with a low mid-engined car. High-performance tyres, insurance and specialist maintenance also form part of the ownership equation in Australia. Buyers who intend to commute through tight urban environments every day should consider those factors alongside the car's performance.

For the right buyer, the MCPURA delivers a distinctive alternative to more common high-performance coupes. It is less track-extreme than GT2 Stradale and avoids the additional roof mechanism of MCPURA Cielo, making the coupe the most straightforward expression of the platform. Its appeal rests on the Nettuno engine, carbon construction, Italian design and exclusivity rather than conventional value metrics. Australian enthusiasts seeking a focused two-seat Maserati with genuine supercar performance will find the MCPURA positioned directly at that brief.
