2026 LDV MIFA 9 Price in Australia

The LDV MIFA 9 is a fully electric seven-seat people mover that was introduced to Australia as a spacious alternative to conventional petrol and diesel family vans. It combines a large passenger-focused body with a 90 kWh battery and front-mounted electric drive, targeting families, chauffeur operators and buyers who want quiet electric transport with three usable seating rows. Although it is no longer shown in LDV Australia's main current vehicle-range menu, Australian LDV dealer pages continue to document the MIFA 9 and its local specifications, so buyers should confirm new-stock availability with an authorised dealer.

Australian MIFA 9 specifications were offered across Mode, Executive and Luxe grades. All use a pure-electric powertrain and a 90 kWh battery, with approximately 36-minute DC fast charging from 30 to 80 per cent under suitable conditions. The electric format is particularly well suited to urban people-moving because it delivers smooth, quiet acceleration and eliminates tailpipe emissions, although long-distance buyers need to plan charging stops around real-world range and charger availability.

Passenger accommodation is the MIFA 9's defining strength. It seats seven, with higher grades adding more sophisticated seat adjustment and comfort. Executive introduced features such as power sliding doors and a surround-view camera, while Luxe moved further into premium territory with second-row captain's chairs offering heating, ventilation, massage and reclining functions. The tall, long cabin gives the vehicle the kind of second- and third-row space that compact and medium SUVs cannot match.

Technology includes a large central infotainment display, smartphone connectivity and multiple charging points for passengers. Higher grades add equipment such as wireless phone charging, a digital rear-view mirror and upgraded audio. The focus is on making the MIFA 9 comfortable for passengers as well as the driver, which is important for airport transfer, executive transport and larger-family use.

Safety equipment includes autonomous emergency braking, adaptive cruise control and lane-keeping assistance, with additional parking and camera technology depending on grade. The vehicle's size means surround-view assistance on higher specifications can be particularly valuable in Australian shopping centres and urban parking areas. As always, driver-assistance systems supplement rather than replace attentive driving.

The MIFA 9 is a specialised choice in Australia. Its strongest qualities are cabin space, quiet EV operation, seven-seat flexibility and premium second-row comfort in higher grades. The trade-offs are its large footprint, charging dependence, significant mass and uncertain availability as the national LDV range evolves. Buyers considering one should verify current dealer stock, warranty coverage and charging requirements before purchase. For the right household or passenger-transport business, however, it remains an unusually spacious battery-electric people mover with a strong emphasis on rear-seat comfort.
